Description

Ignatz' and Judith's testimonies match with our reports of increased Defias activity in the region. With a more than high probability, these ‘skulking characters' mentioned have to be Defias scoundrels, scouting the area for thieving opportunities. We haven't located their base of operations yet, so we may kill two birds with one stone here.

Search the area around Ambershire for Defias activity and potential intel on where they delegate their minions from. Once you do, infiltrate it and bring me any clues that may help us find the missing people.

The people of Northwind are wealthy. So far we haven't received any ransom demands, but I would not rule out the possibility of that happening sooner than later.

Completion

This is troubling news. Not only does it confirm VanCleef's schemes to run on a much grander scale, but we have to rule out the Defias being behind the rampant kidnappings. Leaving us to pursue a more grueling lead...
