You aim to rid Timbermaw Hold of its darkness, I take it? Your and my interests align more than you’d think. It is in my best interest to have it be cleansed of its corruption and I know that I can be crucial in your quest to uncover the cause of it all. Your furbolg friend was correct in his assumption: I do know about the Flute of Spirits. It is an ancient relic of the Wild God Aessina herself. The Kaldorei have entrusted Ysera’s Dragonflight with the relic at the advent of the War of the Ancients. There it lay for countless millennia, until the traitor Insomnius stole it. He was banished for his transgression, the flute lost forever.
If you wish to claim it, you have to find Insomnius. Luckily for you, the cunning wretch is hard to kill. He goes by the name of Insom’ni now. His delusions were an insult to our noble task of shepherding this world, yet all he strives towards is ruling it like a false deity. You will find him on the isle north of Gilijim’s Isle.

Does Itharius miss me so much? I am almost moved to tears. What has changed that the old fool willingly sents mortals to my lair? Let us hope his mother doesn’t hear of this.
