Description

The mass of thorny tentacles in the palm of your hand squirms and reaches out in an inexplicable manner. Further and further does it slither around your hand, embracing it with an ever tightening grip. Drawn in by the mesmerizing spectacle, you don’t realize the mass possesses an eye - and a barb which it promptly bores into your palm. Under immense pain you try to pry away the parasite, but it only digs deeper into your flesh. Quickly, it became one with you. Horrified and breathing heavily, you hear a voice inside your head. Faint at first, your glance wanders around searching for the source, but you cannot find it. In panic you gaze at your infected hand - and are met with an intense stare and the voice you just heard:

“Vessel, a purpose was placed upon you. Like an insect adheres to the call of its queen, so shall you be my instrument. Enter the ruined city of Ahn’Qiraj, in the forlorn dunes of Silithus. There you shall find a blade. Bring it into your possession.”

Completion

The shimmering blade reflects the scorching sun in an unnatural light. Getting closer, the parasite inside your hand almost tears off your forearm with the force it is pulling itself towards the sword. You can feel the heated metal on your skin and it sizzles as the tentacles cause your hand to grasp the handle. Screaming and against all the pain, you pull the blade outside the sand. Soon the pain is gone and the weapon rests in your hand.

“You have played this part well, insect. Yet there is still much to be done.”
