Retrieve the information about the mysterious chest from Ravenholdt’s informants in Stormwind and the Undercity and bring them to Lord Jorach Ravenholdt in Ravenholdt Manor in the Alterac Mountains. If they’re unwilling to cooperate, find a way to loosen their tongue.

Description

Not long ago, infact just a couple of days, a peculiar chest was delivered to the doorstep of my manor. The chest simply appeared overnight, with nothing but a strange perfumed envelope attached to it. Evidently, the mysteries didn’t end there, but I will leave this for a later discussion. Regarding the chest itself, a crescent moon among many other intricate adornments could be found on its surface. For us folk at Ravenholdt it could only mean one thing: Whatever is inside must be of immense value.

Naturally we began investigating and sent word to our informants inside Stormwind and the Undercity, from where they began scouring for any info about this enigmatic chest. Unfortunately, whatever they had found caused them to… cease cooperations. I want you to get your hands on what they found. Either pilfer it from their pockets or extort the info out of them. I am sure they have something incriminating not far from them. They go by the names of Lord Finwald and Ebenezer Dregheap.

Progress

While I am most interested in the information they acquired, it’d be most regrettable to ultimately lose such a fountain of knowledge by simply disposing of them. How refreshing it is that some old-fashioned blackmailing always does the trick to foster good working relations.

Completion

Fascinating. I had my suspicions before, but according to the notes, we’re dealing with something far more ancient than anticipated. How strange to see it in such an immaculate condition…
