Description

The tauren of these lands have never been our enemies.

We keep our distance. They keep theirs. Sometimes we even trade. It is not friendship, but it is peace, and peace is rare enough in these times.

That is why this troubles me.

A splinter group has taken refuge at An’she’s Respite to the south. They no longer answer to their chieftains, and they do not behave like the tauren we know.

My sentinels approached them under banner of parley. Two of my sisters did not return.

Something has twisted them. Madness, corruption, or some darker influence. I do not yet know which. What I do know is this: they are attacking anyone who passes near their camp. I will not allow that threat to remain at our doorstep.

Travel to An’she’s Respite and cut them down before their violence spreads any further.

Tauren are formidable opponents. Their strength alone is enough to shatter shields and bones alike. Do not let their size fool you into thinking them slow.

I take no satisfaction in this. Still… if they had been left unchecked, more would have died. We will keep watch on the rest of their tribes. If this corruption spreads, we will know. Until then, Narvalis Point remains secure. That is what matters.
