Description

You have seen the crater to the west, yes? The one they call the Starshard Cradle.

A most unfortunate name. Romantic, even. I assure you, there is nothing romantic about a rock falling from the heavens with enough force to crack the earth open.

What interests me is not the crater itself, but what came after - blue dragons. Not one or two passing through, but an entire brood circling the impact site as though it were a shrine. One of them in particular has drawn my attention.

Starcaller.

It patrols the skies above the crater and drives away anything that comes too close. Adventurers. Scholars. Even the naga have learned to give it a wide berth.

Which leaves us with two possibilities.

Either the meteor drew the dragons here… Or the dragons themselves caused it to fall.

Neither answer sits comfortably with me.

Slay the drake known as Starcaller at the Starshard Cradle. With it gone, we may finally learn what the dragons are guarding there.

Blue dragons wield arcane power as easily as most people breathe. Expect spells. Expect sudden bursts of energy that turn the air itself against you.

And if the meteor truly empowers the creature…Then the fight may be more interesting than I anticipated.

Starcaller is dead?

Good. That removes the most immediate obstacle.

The blue dragonflight rarely commits to guarding something so aggressively unless it carries great arcane significance.

A meteor saturated with arcane energy… and dragons circling it like vultures.

Yes. There is definitely more to this crater than a simple rock from the sky. With that drake gone, perhaps the others will grow less bold. Or perhaps they will become curious enough to reveal what they were truly protecting.

Either way, you have given us an opportunity to learn the truth.

And I very much intend to take it.
