Description

Narvalis Point may look quiet, but quiet places still need defenders. Sentinels patrol these woods day and night. Most people see their glaives and forget the other half of their craft.

The bow.



Good arrows are not simple things. Straight shafts, balanced heads… and proper fletching. Without the right feathers, even the finest arrow will fly crooked. Normally we would import materials from deeper kaldorei lands, but supply lines to this coast are… unreliable.

Fortunately, the forests here offer an alternative. Azureshimmer hippogryphs nest along the cliffs and high branches of the surrounding woods. Their feathers are light, strong, and remarkably stable in flight. Perfect for sentinel arrows.

I only need a handful. Gather twelve of their feathers and bring them to me. Do try not to harm more hippogryphs than necessary. They are proud creatures, and they have lived on this coast far longer than we have.

Progress

Take care when approaching the hippogryphs. They are not hostile by nature, but they defend their nests fiercely. If one takes flight above you, keep your eyes open. They strike from the air faster than most people expect.
