Keeper of the Broken Grove
Slay Keeper Krothis in Elun’aran and return to Sister Mirallun.
Description
The druids behind this corruption do not act alone. Their leader is a keeper of the grove named Krothis.
Once he was respected among the druids of these lands. A guardian of the forest, patient and wise. Many sought his counsel when the wilds fell out of balance.
Now he serves another. The druids you fought speak of a figure they call Mothshroud.
Long ago, before many of these groves fell silent, an archdruid guided the druids of this region. A teacher of dreams, of night, of the hidden places between waking and the Emerald Dream. He walked paths few druids dared to study.
In time, those paths carried him somewhere… we could no longer follow. He vanished, and the groves slowly returned to simpler teachings.
But it seems his shadow has returned. Krothis now serves Mothshroud, carrying out his will across the groves.
If the forest is to heal, Krothis must fall.
Progress
Krothis was once a keeper of the grove. Creatures like that do not fall easily and those who follow Mothshroud rarely fight alone.
Completion
Krothis has fallen…
The forest mourns when a keeper dies, even one who lost his way.
Without Krothis guiding them, the corrupted druids will scatter. Some may yet remember the teachings they abandoned.
Others will follow Mothshroud deeper into shadow.
This is not the end of the matter. If Mothshroud truly walks these lands again, then the groves face a danger older than most remember.
But for now, the forest breathes a little easier.
